Snap Art Panels for Photoshop CS4
We have started to take advantage of a cool new way to enhance Photoshop CS4 through custom panels. These panels can be docked with other panels and hidden, just like the built-in panels such as Layers and Channels. Our first two panels enhance the use of Snap Art 2. One of them lets you start any of the Snap Art filters with a single button press. No more navigating deep into the Filter menu! The other panel uses the Snap Art Pencil Sketch filter to make even more photorealistic portraits.

You can learn more about the panels and get them for free here. Just remember that you have to have Photoshop CS4 and Snap Art 2 (demo or full version) installed. After installing, you can make new panels visible by going to the Window->Extensions menu. Expect panels for some of our other plug-ins in the coming months.

New Snap Art Case Studies
Sandra Selle-Rodriguez has added some beautiful new pictures created with Snap Art to her case study. You can mouse over them to see the original photos of these Southwest scenes. Sandra’s six canvas panel project is particularly impressive. It used both Snap Art and Blow Up.

Ted Byrne has done some great portraits using Snap Art, particularly in his Race Against Racism series on his blog. In this series you can see a wide range of looks, from detailed photorealism to large strokes and colorful abstraction.
